Biggest critique for this is go easy on the smooth modifier. Your bumping up the poly count by a massive amount, make sure it is needed. You seem to have A LOT of unneeded polys in this piece even before the mesh smooth was added.
One of the things i tell my students is that if you can tell your model has a mesh smooth on it, then you should remove it. This can obviously be disregarded later on when your a little more experienced
Had a quick look through your gallery and you seem to over use smoothing modifiers quite a lot. It may be a worth while exercise for you to bad smooth modifiers in your own work for a set amount of time and see what you can get without them. This way when you DO add a smooth they will be taken to the next level.
I like the way you have maintained your quads fairly well, though i do see a couple of misshapen polys here and there, mainly around the port on the front of the droid. If you want to use a smooth you should maintain your quads, especially if you plan to animate.
Would be interested to see how many polys this is at the moment, I can probably be of more help if you can also tell us what software it was made in.
Its a decent start, will be interested to see where it goes, hope this helps. Keep up the good work.
